On last Tuesday afternoon,
at the Hinkle home, occurred
one of the most charming and
delightful weddings of the sea
son, when Mr. Paul Dinwiddie
and Miss Nell Hinkle were
united in the hIy bonds of
matrimony.
The ceremony was performed
by the bride's pastor, Rev E Ry
Evans, and music rendered by
Mr. Davis, Mrs. Edna Morrow
and Mrs. Ted Lance. Mrs.
Morrow officiated at the piano,
Mr. Davis the violin and Mrs.

Mr. W. M. Landers, brake-
man on French Broad Railway
at Runnion, was practically
killed outright Monday night
about 10 o'clock. He was doing
some work about the train and
was supposed to have fallen
beneath the car. One arm and
eg was cut off and the train
ran across his body. He lived
about three fourths of an hour.
Mr. Landers was a son of Mr
