Carson R. Gentry, son of Mr. and
Mrs. John W. Gentry, of Route 3,
Box 140, Marshall, has been assigned
to the 57th Field Artillery Battalion
of the 7th Infantry Division stationed
at Camp Crawford, Hokkaido, Japan.

Jackson, S. C. In April, 1948, Pfc
Gentry sailed overseas to Korea. He
then transferred to the 67th 'Field
Artillery Battalion at Camp Yonng
hans, Honshu, Japan, -before arriv
ing at Camp Crawford, Hokkaido,
Japan. He is now serving as ft track
driver in Battery 'B" of his Bat
talion. Prior to entering the Army, Pfc.
Gentry attended the White Rock
high school, Marshall,- B-3.
