Acreage allotments will be in effect for price support and soil bank purposes even if marketing quotas are disapproved. Hawkins emphasized that the Marketing Quota Program applies only to wheat growers in North Carolina who will have more than 15 acres of wheat on any farm in 1958. Only those growers who will have more than 15 acres of wheat for grain in 1958 will be eligible to vote.
