'How I Raised My Best Crop Of Burley Tobacco "I WAS getting good tobacco yields but decided last year to see if the Agrico Program could make thejm better," says Claude J. Wild of Rte. 4, Marsh til (Madison Co.), N. C. "When my Agrico Soil Tejst Report came back, I followed the fertilizer recorh mendations as closely as possible, using 1,200 lbs. of Agrico for Tobacco 3-9-9 per acre along on the row on half the field. For comparison, I followed mhr usual program on the rest of the field. "The Agrico-fertilized tobacco produced 2,670 lbs. of burley per acre, which sold for an average of $69 a hundred. I figure my income with Agrico was at least $125 more per acre than with my old program. And since my 10-year average is 2,200 lbs. per acre, the Agrico crop was by far the best tobacco I have ever grown." AGRICO. T. S. BRIGGS RFD 2, Weawville, N. C. COAL, FEED & LUMBER CO. Marshall, N.
