ison County, died Thursday, April
19. 1962, in a Newport News hos
pital after a long illness. -
She had lived in Hampton 22
years and was a teacher in the
Edeefield Elementary School and
a member of the West : Hampton
Baptist Church. She also taught
in the adult department of. the
Sunday School. She was a gradu
ate of Mars Hill and Western
Carolina colleges. She attended
the graduate school at the Uni
versity of Virginia.
Services were conducted at 2
p. m., Sunday, in West Hampton
Baptist Church. Burial was in
Peninsula Memorial Park Ceme
tery in Newport News.
