C. Mrs. Ella Merrill Passes Monday; Rites Wednesday Mrs. Ella Merrill, 91, of Mar shall Rt. 2, died Monday night, August 24, 1964 in an Asheville hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of John Mer rill and was a lifelong resident of Madison County. She was a mem ber of Trinity Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. C. T. WWdrup of Rt. 2; two sis ters, Mrs. Laura Tillery and Mrs. Ida P. Ball, both of Rt. 2; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
