After a year of plan ning, saving money earned In an after-school-hours Job, reading all sorts of books and travel folders, getting my passport and immuni zation in order and talking to peo ple who had made the trip before, my long-awaited dream became a reality. I left Kennedy International Airport in New York and landed six and a half hours later at Rhine Main International Airport, Frank furt, Germany. There I was met by family friends with whom I was to spend the summer. 4-H Council Met At REA Building; Training Cited The 4-H County Council held it. monthly meeting Thursday, Jan uary 28, at the RSA Building in Marshall. Jay Neally Edwards, president, presided. Poring the business session, plans ware made for the 4-H Achievement Program and each club agreed to help raise money for the 4-H Development Fund Campaign. The educational part of the program was a train ing session for all officers of the clubs in the county. Mrs. E. 0. Burnetts worked with the presi dents; Eerie Wise, vice presi dents; Mrs. J. E. Buckner, secre tary-treasurers; and Mrs. Marvin Rhodes, reporters. Following the training session, the members of each group prseWsd at a sample opening and business session.
