Joe Shipley was the winning
pitcher and Strickland absorbed
the loss.
Hot Springs' Tom Huff led the
hitters with a sizzling 6-6 output.
Shelton had 5-6.
Hot Springs will play on the
Mars Hill diamond Friday.

Mrs. Mae Alison Dockery, 81,
of Marshall Rt. 1, died Sunday
night, April 11, 165 in the home
of a eon, J. J. Allison, following
long illness.
She was a life-long resident of
Madison County.
Surviving in addition to the son
are another son, Homer Dockery
of Ho. Springs Rt. 1; 11 grand
children and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday at
11 a. m., in Mt. Pleasant Raptist
Church, or which she was a mem
ber.
The Rev. Curtis Riddle offici
ated and burial was in the church
cemetery. Pallbearers were grand
sons.

Charles Tolley hurled Mara Hill
to a 3-1 victory over Laurel last
Thursday at Laurel for the Wild
cats' 3rd win of the aeason against
