3-Car Collision
In Weaverville
Hurts 3 Women
Three persons were injured in
a three-car collision at the inter
section of U. S. 19-28 and Dula
Springs road in Weaverville last
Thursday about 4 p. m.
Admitted to Memorial Mission
Hospital were Mrs, Floyd Ray,
and her mother, Mrs. Grace Rid
dle, both of Mars Hill, and Mrs.
Peggy Burleson of North Fork
road, Barnardsville.
Mrs. Ray suffered facial injur
ies. Mrs. Riddle was treated for
multiple lacerations and knee in
juries. Mrs. Burleson suffered
lacerations of the face, knees and
arms and possible chest injuries.
Mrs. Ray and Mrs. Burleson
ware listed as being in satisfactory,
condition and Mrs. Riddle was re
ported in fair condition.
State Trooper W. D. Arledge
said tbe accident occurred when
a' car operated, by Mrs. Troy Wes
of Weaverville pulled out of Dula
Springs road into the path of the
Ray vehicle. The West auto, in
an attempt to miss the tiSwfSM
swerved and collided head-on with
the Burleson car, he reported. Mrs.
West apparently escaped injury.
