Approximately 6,000 Western North Carolinians toured the huge pulp and paper mill of Champion Papers, Inc., in Canton last week, during a special open house at the Carolina Division. Highlight of the tour was a walk past the Division's new 600-foot-lonp Fourdrinier bleached pa perboard machine that began pro duction earlier this month.
