(the for mer Sadie Ramsey) came in the office Monday and greeted me with, "Pop, I read your column ever week when my paper- arrives and I thoroughly enjoy it" I immediately got out of my desk chair, pushed back the typewrit er and grabbed her hand I almost hugged her because it does a person good to know that peo ple in other states get a "kick" out of Heard and Seen heard some talk about tearing down the condemned upper bridge I wieh somehow they wouldn't tear the bridge down sorta hate to see it "out" besides, it is mighty handy for a walkway and for fishing I still think a new flooring with a rail say, five oi sX feet in width would be a good idea the framework of the bridge is sure ly good for many more years it wouldn't cost too much and it would surely benefit a lot of people who live on the hill -something for the town officials, clubs, merchants association or someone to think about what's YOUR feelings? Are you willing to donate a few cents to ward a new flooring?
