THE wi w Robert L. Holt, 86, Passes Sunday; Rites Wednesday Robert L. Holt, 86, of Hot Springs Rt 1. died Sunday, Da comber 19, 1966 in a Western North Carolina hospital alter a long illness. He was a native of Madison County and a retired farmer of the Spring Creek section. Surviving are three sons, Reece of Hot Springs Rt. 1, and Forrest and Frank Holt, both of Hot Springs Rt 2; a daughter, Mrs. Albert Pritchard of Asheville; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Finley of Hot Springs Rt. 2 and Mrs. Nel lie Stevenson of NewiHirt, Trim ; eight grandchildivn and b great grandchildren. Services were held at '1 p. in-, m., Wednesday in Mt. ion Bap tist Church. The Rev. Oder Anders ami thr Rev. Clint Holt officiated and Inn ml was in the church cen'etcry. DRAFT BOARD TO MOVE TO RAMSEY BUILDING DEC. 30 Office To Be Closed From December 30 To January 2 Mrs. Demaris Fropst, clerk of the Selective Service Office here, announced this week that ti.e draft board office will move to the Listen B. Ramsey Building on Main Street probably on De cember 30. Present location of the draft board office is on the second floor of the Masonic Tem ple. She also stated that the ofice would remain closed on December 30, 31, and January 1 and 2. For Christmas closing schedule the office will be closed from noon on December 23 to December 28. And believe you me what Scrooge saw was so awful it made a new man out of him. When he awoke on Christmas morning he was so glad to be alive and fall of the real Spirit of Christmas he quickly made up for all his past meanness.
