Basketball Kiilta- MARSHALL LOSES TWO TO BLACK HAWKS The North Buncombe Black Hawks extended their winning season to three, beating Marshall 56-45 Tuesday night. Ben Honeycutt ted the North Buncombe attack, scoring 15 and grabbing 23 rebounds. Dennis Silver scored 12 and had 18 rebounds while Clark had 16 rebounds. The Black Hawks held a 27 22 lead at halftime and gained a bigger lead in the third quarter. North Buncombe's girls outlasted the visitors in a cliff hanger 23-22. Marshall had a one point advantage at the half, but the home-standers scored a last second basket for the victory.
