Father's Day
A large part of the Baptist college
story la financial help for needy
students. In June, and especially on
Father's Day, North Carolina Baptists
are given a special opportunity to
support these students through the
Baptist Scholarship Offering.
This offering can be used for ONLY
one purpose: student aid for North
Carolina Baptist students attending one
of our seven colleges. Only students
who have genuine financial need receive
this help. This Is one way that Baptists
help some of their own young people
to help themselves.
At the present, about 25 of all
students on our Baptist campuses re
ceive some kind of student aid from
college, funds. In a period when In
flation affecu everyone, dollars for
the needy student are mors difficult
to find. Through the Baptist Scholar
ship Offering on June 18, we will enable
mors Baptist young people to attend and
to remain m one of oar' colleges.
Bulletins and bulletin Inserts are
araUabls to churches, free of charge.
(Offering envelopes have already bees
sent to the Sunday School directors.)
These materials may be ordered from
the Council on Qhrlstlan Higher Edu
cation, P. O. Box 26508, Raleigh.
