excellent defensive game, the
Patriots almost upset the
favored Piagah team la the
final quarter only to loae by
three points, 8MB. Had it not
been for a cold streak in the
second quarter when Piagah
outscored the Pats, 2J-B, and
for some erratic paaaae and
turnovers, the local girls
coached by P.N. Willett,
might have been Tourney
champions.
The Madison girls earned
their trip to the finals by
defeating the Heritage girls
Tuesday night, MM) and
showed they were "for real"
by upsetting favored Syhra
Webster 4MB on Friday night.
The Madison Patriots were
eliminated on Wednesday
night by Tuscola when the
local quint was defeated <4-57.

deficit at intermission to edge
