Auction Time To Benefit Arts Council Donated items will be auctioned to benefit the Madison County Arts Council at the Fowler brothers' auction site in Barnard Sept. 15, from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Lloyd Fowler and Joe Fowler have offered their time and ?mii to help MCAC raise money for community projects by reserving the first half hour of their regular weekly auction for the Arts Council. This week, items include seven light blue, lined, hand made draperies, a man's shaver, and a new grill. County artists and craftsmen are also donating original artwork to be auctioned, including a hand-woven chenille scarf by and from the Trillium weavers on Spring Creek. And Louis Zeller of Little Laurel is offering a framed silkscreen print en titled "Bluff Mtn." The Arts Council would be grateful for any other donated items. If you can help, call Pat Franklin in Mars Hill at 689-3297. Pauline Zimmerman in Laurel at 656-2224; or Bernard Goenell in Hot Springs at 622-3325. They will arrange to pick the things up. Items can also be dropped off at the ambulance center in Marshall, or at the auction site in Barnard, below Walnut.
