Brown, a #T' center, was signed to a full scholarship by Western Carolina University earlier this year. WCU coach Judy Stroud said the former Lady Patriot captain has been advised to give up basketball by her physician. The doctor advised Brown give up basketball after discovering she has rheumatoid arthritis in both her knees.
