Blue Hose Kick Lions By BOB KOENIG Mm Hill'* coaches triad a tw ap proach Saturday afternoon for the Homecoming ' game with Presbyterian College. Unfortunately for the Lions' partisans, the route were all too familiar With Lion bead coach Rick Gilstrap operating from the proas box, the in effective Lion offense again failed to put enough points on the board to avert a 19-14 loss to their SAC-8 rivals. The Lions were in control in the early part of Saturday's contest, thanks to a fine M-yard ran by tailback Tony Garland on the Lions' second possession of the game. Garland took a pitch-out from QB Sean Bowles down the left side of the field for the score. David Shealy's ex tra point kick gave the Lions a 7-0 edge with 10:05 left in the first quarter. The crowd of 3,800 didn't know it at the time, but it would be the Lions' best offensive play of the long after noon. His first was a 41-yard try at the II 23 mark of the second quarter to bring PC within four, 7-3.
