Ray Allen day for Ray Allen of Sanford who died Nov. ? at the age of 91. Services were held in the chapel of the Bridge* and Cameron Funeral Home in Sanford with the Rev. Leroy Baldwin officiating. Burial was con ducted in Sanford. - A native of Madison County, he was the son of the late Jeter and Dollie McKenney Allen. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was employed by the Heins Telephone Co. He is survived by his wife, Margie Mason Allen; a son, Jeffrey Ray Alien of the home; two sisters, Essie Maney of Mars Hill and Eloise England of Burnsville; and four brothers. Mack and Charles Allen, both of Mars Hill, Kelley Allen of Marshall and Furman Allen' of Houston, Texas. Dr. Jeter Bradley Funeral services were held Mon day morning for Dr. Jeter Carroll Bradley of Weaverville who died Nov. ? in an Asheville hospital at the age of 94. Services were held in the Weaver ville United Methodist Church, of which he was a member, with the Rev. Charles Turner officiating. Burial was conducted in West Memorial Park. A native of Buncombe County, he was a graduate of Mars Hill College and the George Washington School of Medicine at Cornell University. Dr. Bradley was a veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War I and served as family physician to former President Herbert Hoover. He later practised medicine in Weaverville for 54 years. Dr. Bradley was a member of the American Medical Association, the District of Columbia , Buncombe County and Madison County Medical Societies. He was also a former past president of the Lions Club and S.P.E.B S.Q.S.A.. a Mason and member of the Country dub of Asheville He is survived by his wife, Lucy Sheppard Bradley; a daughter. Dorothea SherriU of Wea verville; two granddaughters and a great grandson Hassie Brown Funeral services were held Satur day afternoon for Hasaie Barrett Brown of Leicester who died Nov. I in her home at the age of B2. Services were held in the chapel of the Bowman Funeral Home in Mar shall with Shirley Culvern officiating. Burial was conducted in the Union Baptist Cemetery. A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Elbert and Relda Plemmons Barrett and the widow of Edward J. Brown who died in 1976. Mrs. Brown attended the Union Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Evelyn B. Willard of Winston Salem; a brother, Lawton Barrett of Leicester; a granddaughter and two great-grandsons. The family has requested that memorials be made to the Leicester Volunteer Fire Dept. Mary Runnion Funeral services were held Thurs day afternoon for Mary Pearson Run nion of Tillery Branch Ed. who died Nov. 6 in an Asheville hospital at the age of 67. Services were held in the Walnut Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Lester Clayton, Gerald Sprinkle and Wendell Runnion officiating. Burial was conducted in the Runnion Cemetery. A native of Indianapolis, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Charles and Edith Hunt Pearson. She had made her home in Madison County for the past 40 years.
