According to figures supplied by Weaverville Council To Meet The Weaverville Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. in Town Hall. Merchants To Discuss Chamber The Marshall Merchant's Association will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Marshall House to discuss the possible forma tion of a chamber of commerce. Hot Springs Merchants To Gather Hot Springs Mayor Kenny Ramsey has called a meeting of town merchants at 7 p.m. Tuesday to discuss the formation of a business association. County Commissioners Set Meeting The Madison County Board of Commissioners have con tinued its meeting of Jan. 12 until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Madison County Courthouse. Nuclear Waste Rally Planned Residents of Madison, Buncombe and Haywood counties will meet at noon Friday to mark the one-year anniversary of the announcement that the U.S. Department of Energy had placed Western North Carolina on its list for a nuclear waste repository. A rally will be held at Asheville's City-County Plaza, and speakers from citizens groups against the dump will be present. For more information, call Lou Zeller at 656-2773.
