Norris, Johnston county man who forfatted a bond of $400 after police'arrested him and Nellie Groan upon a charge of violating the Stats hotel law by registering as man and wife for Immoral purposes, was ar rested again yesterday in Benson. He gave $1,000 bond and hie trial set for Saturday in the city court. Polieo Chief Barbour had been on the trail of Norris for several weeks and located)him last week in Peters burg, Vs Police ef that city.were notified to apprehend Norris. It was thought the Petersburg officers had difficulty in finding Norris as Chief Barbour could get no information from them. Yesterday, a message from Benson told of hie arrest at that place. Norris served a Jail sentence last fall upon conyietioa of violating the white slave law and also figured In the Federal liquor investigation.— Today's Nows and Observer.
