Dear Loots: Just a few lines. Am enclos ing a little souvonir. It Is a strap from tha shoulder of a German's uniform. Of courue I cant tell you much but will nay I took it off with my own bands. You will notice the figures on tbe strap, 174, that is tbe number of his Regiment. He la a real German in every respect. He with others were brought In by our boys. H« told me, or in other words told my interpreter, he wished there was ten million Americana ovtr here so they could bring this sear to a close.
