Parker, of Duke is treasurer. The regular business of the conference was at tended ta Friday afternoon and Sat urday. Rev. J. L. Lucas, of Duke preached Friday night. Saturday at II o'clock Rev. Lioyd_ Vernon, of Duke preached. The preaching Sat urday night was by Rev. L H. Wethenngton. who ia superintendent of Mlddleaex Orphanage. He spoke mainly on the Orphanage which now has twenty-one children to care for.
