Every mem ber of eaeh organization is requested to attend, as matters of importance relative to the merifinfj of the two jrroups will be discussed, and the election of officers for the newly form ed club will take place. Mrs. H. W. Buucvm will preside. Mrs. Tom Taliefarro and young son, Walter, III, are spending this week in Raleigh with Mr. Taliefarro. Mrs John F. Hodges and small son, John, who are spending sometime with the former's mother, Mrs. James R. Thomas, joined Mr. Hodges at Bean Station, Tenn., for the week-end. MEETING The April meeting of the Dorcas Bell Love chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met on Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. James M. Long, at the Wayneville Country Club. The members assem bled in the lounge, which was aiTang- ed in a profusion of spring flowers from the gardens of the hostess. The regent, Mrs. Jame6 Harden Howell, presided. After an explanation by the regent and a discussion it was voted to allow the National Register to give out in formation regarding data contained in accepted papers. A motion was made to send a gift for the birthday basket, to be pre sented to the President General, Mrs. William A. Becker, on the occasion of the North Carolina State luncheon, which will be given at the Mayflower Hotel during the National Congress this month.
