"Bottled Ga" is rapidly gaining in
popularity in this section. Jt is sold
by Martin Electric Company, and is
furnished them by Rulane Gas Com
pany, of Cherryville, N. C.
Right at this time the installation
Drives on installing this gas service
has been greatly reduced.
One of the reasons for the increas
ed use of this particular gas, accord
ing to Mr. Martin, is that it gives more
heat, no fumes or smoke and osts so
little to use. The flame can be reg
ulated from quick heat to a slow
warm heat.
A number of public eating place
are now using this gas servioo, as
well as a number of private homes.
The gas comeK in tanks, and is st
simple to operate just the mere
turning of a valve connects one tank
and disconnects another.

stirring constantly, ("ook in double
boiler twenty-five minutes or. if time
will - permit, cooking for one hour
greatly improves the flavor and . will
make for a better "texture in the froz
en dessert. Stir several times during
cooking process. Combine with well
beaten egg whites. Return quickly
five minutes or until thick, stirring
constantly. Cool, add salt, cream and
strain, l'ou - into freezing tray. When
frozen 'remove, to bowl, add vanilla
and whip with electric or hand beat
er until mix becomes light and
creamy. Then carefully fold in stiffly
beaten agg whites. Heturn quickly
to freezing tray and allow to finish
freezing. -
