MAGGIE HYATT Funeral services were conducted at the Massie Funeral Home on Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock for Mrs. Maggie Hyatt, 67, widow of the late Thaddeaus Hyatt, who died on Thursday after a long ill ness at the home of her niece, Miss Hilbrice Hyatt, of near Whittier. Rev. J. Clay Madison, pastor of the First Methodist church, offi ciated. He was assisted by the Rev. J. M. Woodard, pastor of the Hazelwood Baptist church, and Rev. Andrews, of Whittier. Burial was in Green Hill cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were: John Plott, Lane Arrington, Rufus Hvatt, Dewey Hyatt, David Hyatt, and V. C. Hyatt. Mrs. Hyatt was a native of Hay wood county, the daughter of the late Monteville and Susan Finley, Hyatt, of Waynesville. She resid ed in Haywood county until a few years ago, when she went to Whit tier to live with her niece follow ing the death of her husband. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews of Whittier and points in Florida. I THOMAS M. MORROW Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon at the Barbersville Baptist church for Thomas M. Morrow, 03, Haywood county farmer, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bill Grasty, in the Mooney Cove near Waynesville at 9 p. m. Saturday. ' The Rev. Eugene Moore, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial was in the Owens cemetery in the Cove Creek section of the county. Serving as pallbearers were: Caesar Morrow, Sam Bradley, Hugh Jaynes, Jarvis Morrow, Ru fus Downs and Lawrence Downs. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Owens Morrow; five sons, Weaver and Sam Morrow, of Wil mington, Hugh and Claude Mor row, of Greenville, S. C, and Pri vate Lavalle Morrow, U. S. Army of Camp Howze, Tex.; two daugh ters, Mrs. Bill Grasty, of Waynes ville, and Mrs. Willie Lee Phillips, of Greenville, S. C; one brother, Zeb Morrow, of Waynesville and one sister, Mrs. J. N. Hall, of Marietta, S. C, and seven grandchildren. GRACE EPISCOPAL CHURCH Rev. Robt. Tatum, Rector Holy Communion at 8:00 o'clock. Sunday School at 10:00 o'clock.
