To Murphy Friday The Waynesville Mountaineers will again lie on I he road this week when the journey to Cherokee coun ty to meet Murphy in a return en gagement. Murphy came to Way nesville for the first game of the season on the local gridiron, and went down in defeat at the hands of the locals, 25 to 0. Both teams have had more ex perience since the first engagement and Murphy is out to avenge the earlier defeat if possible. This is the 'first time that the Mountaineers have played a return game with Murphy, but due to the war situation several schools have discontinued football for lack of equipment, travel facilities and in a number of cases coaches. The probable starting lineup for the Mountaineers will be: Collins and Troutman at ends; Medford and Scates, at tackles; Knight and Caldwell, at guards; and Jaynes at center.
