David Boyd Returns From Overseas Private David Boyd, son of Mrs. David Boyd of Nashville, Tenn., and grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Boyd of Waynesville, has returned from two years over seas. Pvt. Boyd is reported to be con fined to his bed in the Battey General Hospital, Rome, Ga., where he is now a patient. He entered the service in May, 1942 and was sent overseas the following October. He has been stationed for the greater part of the time in Australia. At the time he entered the ser vice Pvt. Boyd was employed by the Asheville Citizen. He was for merly employed by the Waynes ville Mountaineer.
