Camp Hope Expansion Plan Made By YMCA New Buildings And Enlargements Are Begun After Com mittee Lays Plans A large expansion program for Camp Hope, popular mmmer play ground of the Champion YMCA, has been launched by officials, it was announced following meetings of the Camp Hope committee of the YMCA directors held during the past week. A number of material improve ments will be made before the next season opens, and a fuller pro gram of activities will be included In the plans for next ninmer. New Buildup's Construction has already begun on a new diningroom and kitchen, which will be added to the present lodge, and will greatly increase the accommodations. The addition of these rooms will also enlarge the lodge, since the partitions have been removed, and the looms formerly used for kitchen and din ing room taken in. The new buildings will be of rock foundation, with framed walls of asbestos siding in keeping with the lodge and other buildings. The firsl meeting of the camp committee was held at Camp Hope Thursday evening, when Miss Eliza beth Thompson of the YMCA stall was hostess al supper. A follow up meeting was held Monday eve ning at the home of (ieorge O Arthur chairman, when Mr. and Mrs. Arthur entertained at a sup per. The camp committee i- .
