C. Fugate, ; in Dellwood, after a long Ulness.- She was the widow of J. E. Rhodes of Asheville and a. mem ber of the Wesleyan Methodist church of West Ashe ville. Funeral services were held this afternoon in the Dellwood Baptist church with the Rev. George Me haffey and Rev. L. L. Henderson officiating. Burial was in Green Hill Cemetery. Grandsons served as pallbearers. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Fugate, are two daughters, Mrs. C. H. Garland of St. Petersburg, Fla., 'and Mrs. Ray P. Miller of Asheville; one son, John E. Rhodes of Knoxville, Tenn.; one brother, Bert Morrison of Beechwood. Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Marian Toner of Emporia, Pa.; 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
