(International Soundphoto) I Equalization Board Meeting On Tax Lists Members of the Haywood Coun ty Board of Commissioners met today as the Board of Equaliza tion and Review to examine tax listings for each of the coun ty's towiwhips for 1950. Hearings will be held on any complaints filed by tax payers, continuing through that week. Complainants will appear before the board according to the sched ule arranged for each township. Chairman George A. Brown, Jr., reminded the . county's property owners this week that this is the only time in which the commission ers have the authority to change valuation of real estate. Premises will be reviewed and I necessary adjustments of all ccftn- plaints will be made daily from March 27 through April 10. The schedule for hearings on complaints: 4 - March 20 Ivy Hill, Jonathan Creek, , White Oak,' and i Cataloo- chee; March 21 Fines Creek, Crabtree, and Iron Duff; March 22 Young Democrats of North Caro lina are making plans for a second state-wide rally, Terry Sanford, YDC president said today, and all indications are that it will be larg er than the first rally held last month at Greensboro. The rally will be held In Asheyille on March 25. The principal address will be made by Sam Rayburn, speaker of the U. S. House of Representatives who will journey to Asheville with Congressman Monroe M. Redden for the occasion. A number of events are being planned, including a square dance at the City Auditorimu, with Rich ard Queen calling the figures.
