i Haywood County will launch a big campaign next week
to lick a big problem. The problem is how can the average' family
pay for needed hospital-surgical-maternity care without financial
strain? The answer is membership in a non-profit Blue Cross plan.
You pay small monthly or quarterly dues to a Blue Cross plan
such as The Hospital Care Association of Durham. Then when you
have to go to a hospital and the chances are 1 to 3 someone in
your family will go to a hospital in 1950 The Hospital Care Asso
ciation will pay all or most of your bill.
