Mrs. Alley Speaks To Secretaries At June Meeting The regular monthly meeting of the Waynesville Chapter of the National Secretaries Association was hold Wednesday night at the home of Miss Ret a Grant on the Howell Mill Road. Mrs. Edith P. Alley was guest speaker and gave an Interesting account of the Cherokee drama, "Unto These Hills." Miss Mary Mcdf ord, president, presided during the business hour and the group decided to sponsor a Donem cam party on Friday night, July 7. Miss Louise Gaddy was named to make arrangement for the event, The group also voted to publish an extra edition of "The Mountain ette" local bulletin of the chapter, on the Cherokee drama and send copies to each of the approximate ly two hundred secretarial chapters in the United States with the Idea of encouraging secretaries to spend their vacations in this section. As a special project the club de cided to help clothe four children to send to Camp Hope for two weeks. . Mrs. Ray Is Honored At Luncheon Mrs. Harvey Ray, bride of last month, was honored at a lunchuon given by Miss Mary Ann Massie at her summer home on the Pigeon Road on Wednesday.
