Symphony Drive To Be Held In November Mrs. Frieda KnoDf. chairman of j the North Carolina Symphony Com mittee for the Waynesville area, has announced that the annual drive for membership in the Symphony Society will be made during the first week in November. Membership in the Symphony Society entitles the contributor to admission to North Carolina Sym phony concerts in any and all com munities throughout the state with I he exception of the occasions when the concerts are purchased out right by a college or similar in stitution. All persons in the community are asked to join the Society through the local committee rather than directly through the Chapel Hill office, so that all funds may be applied on the quota required to bring the orchestra here for a concert next spring.
