The Champion YMCA String Band of Canton led by Marie Bell will play for this frolic. Featuring the Intermission pro ceedings will be the wheelbarrow promenade. ; In this, the escorts will wheel the girls around the floor in wheelbar rows.. . Waynesville merchants and in dustrial establishments are spon soring this feature, which is de signed to help raise funds for the Festival. Fiddling, banjo picking, and oth er contests also will round out the intermission program! Sponsoring the dance are the Waynesville chapter of the Nation- j al Secretaries'. Association and the! Waynesville Junior Chamber of Commerce. Fifty giris dressed as "farmer ette" will take part In the Prom enade, with their escorts dressed in farm clothes. So far, 38 firms and other organ izations have agreed to sponsor en trants on the promenade, and more are expected to file their entries before the first of the week.
