Trouuie is, they're too shy or maybe they re too smart to ad mit who s back of it all. Mrs. Dill Ilembree, Mountaineer reporter. got it from that much-quoted "un impeachable source" that MISTEU Dill Ilembree is, chairman of the coiumiilee. All the rest of the men in Ihe Program are members of that committee, but do you think any one of them is going to give his wife a chance to say, "You made such womleriul deviled eggs for the supper why don't you make enough for the children's lunch boxes tomorrow?" So all we know is that (his is one dinner where the ladies can sit aiound until they're ready to holler "what's keeping dinner so lung?" Then after they've finished thai last leisurely cup of eolfee, they can stroll around and chat while the menfolk get up to the elbows in hot wishwater. Of course this doesn't apply to any men except those nameless figures at Aliens Creek. Visiting men can join the ladies, unless they're tempted to offer a little advice to. their overworked broth ers in Ihe kitchen. The Aliens Creek people are hoping that plen ty of their friends from around Ihe county will come for a good meal, with the kind of service they never expected to get. So if you want to find out for yourself just how well men can cook, and check up on whether Ihcy'ro actually going to do all the work by themselves, just be at the Aliens Creek School next Saturday evening al 7 o'clock.
