Both boys are in the Air Corps, and are stationed in Florida. Iron Duff WSCS Elects Officers MRS. ROY MED FORD Mountaineer Reporter Officers for the coming year were elected at a meeting of the W. S. C. S. of Davis Chapel at Iron Duff. The meeting was held last Thursday at the home of Mrs. J. M. Medford. Taking part in the program were Mrs. J. R. Caldwell. Mrs. V. R. Davis, Mrs Ernest Chambers, Mrs. Frank M. Davis, Mrs. Roy Medford. and Mrs. Grady Davis. The ineominug officers are, presi dent, Mrs. T. C. Davis; vice presi dent. Mrs. R. B. Medford; secre tary, Mrs. Cash Medford; treasurer, Mrs. J. M. Medford; secretary of spiritual life, Mrs. Grady Davis; counties secured more than 90 thousand signatures and nearly tu thousand dollars. The total for me entire state was only 205.215 signatures and hot quite 17 thous and dollars. Mr. Connor paid tribute to the splendid work of the hundreds of volunteers who made possible the success of the campaign. He an nounced that plans for the 1951 drive would soon be released, with emphasis placed on raising funds to construct wore radio sta tions beamed through the Iron Curtain in both Europe and Asia, Reuben B.
