Fines Creek section last week, al
though the downpour was so great
in some parts that it did consider
able damafie to crops and roads.
Sam Ferguson's road up to his
lower place was completely washed
away and his corn crop damaged

meeting Thursday evening at the
Chamoion YMCA.
This hrings to a total of 398 the
number of men and women who
have had 15-20 years of continu
ous, service with Champion.

of the board, was host at the meet
ing and delivered his annual mes
sage. Reuben B. Robertson, Jr.
Champion president, and Dwight
J. Thomson. Champion vice-presi-dent,
both of Hamilton, Ohio, spoke
briefly.
The after-dinner program open
ed with a welcome from H. A. Hel-
der. Canton division manager, and

member of the 15-Year Group em
ployed In the Soda-Sulphate de
partment, Bruce Morford. manager of
Champion's Industrial and com
munity relations, presided..

A musical program was given by
the church choir assisted by visit
ing Quartets.
During the service new mem
