No Winner Yqt As Kids End Season The Knee Pants League ended its season Thursday, but as yet the winner is not known. According to Gene 'Wyatt, whose position cor responds to the one lately held by Happy Chandler in the major leagues, a number of garnes wefe forfeited and a meeting of man-' agers will be necessary before the winner can be decided. Four teams, he said, may each have won. No date has as yet been set for the meeting, Nevertheless, main tained Mr. Wyatt, "It was a very successful season. Some boys were discovered who have natural tal ent that may carry them far, but much of the credit belongs to the managers who donated their time and we're as interested as the kids themselves." A picnic is being planned for all 140 boys who played in the league, but the date will wait on the decision as to the winner. Gold baseballs will be awarded to the winning team : and to the team displaying the best sportsmanship. Colored Ch A male r.v, from FUS Of --""-wine at the Jones will Zion Church s Temp, eight. L. S.
