Mrs. Mulliean, mother of the

mother of the bridegroom wore a
rose lace and crepe gown with a
lavendar orchid corsage.
After the ceremony the parents
of the bride entertained with a re
ception in their home in Larch
mont. Following the reception the
couple left for a wedding trip. For
traveling the bride wore a cocoa
brown gabardine suit with brown
velvet hat and matching accessor
ies. Her corsage was of golden
rapture roses. Upon their return
they wil reside In Gaffney, S. C.
Mrs. Clark was graduated from
Avery Junior College in Danville,
Virginia and received a Bachelor
of Science degree in public school
music from Meredith College this
spring. She will teach music in the
Gaffney schools this fall.
Mr. Clark was graduated this
spring with a Bachelor of Science
degree in textiles from State Col
lege, Raleigh. He holds a position
with the Gaffney Manufacturing
Company, Gaffney, S. C.
Among the out-of-town guests at
the wedding were Mr. and Mrs.
Lawrence Clay Clark, Sr., of Waynesville.

A Flower Show . will be held
Tuesday and Wednesday in the
Clyde School Auditorium under
the sponsorship of the Clyde Wo
man's Club. The public is Invited
to see the displays between 4 p. m.
and 9 p. m.i Tuesday, and between
1 p. m. until 7 p. nr., Wednesday.
Entries must be made Tuesday
between 9 a. m. and 2 p. m. Judg
ing will begin at 2:30 p. m.
Three ribbons yill be awarded
in each flower classification and a
trophy will be presented to the
winner of the sweepstakes.

Little Woman's
Club Has Meet
The Little Woman's Club held a
regular meting Friday night in the
dining room of the First Methodist
Church. Mrs. Virgil Smith, sponsor
of the group, was in charge and

sided." During the business hour plans
were made for a mother-daughter
tea to be held today at the home
of Mrs. Smith. The club also plan
ned to attend the Fashion Show at
Ivey's Department Store in Ashc-
ville this week and to spend a week
end at Camp Hope. '
The program on "Boy and Girl
Friends'' was given by Barbara
Teague. ,
