home of the bride's parents on
Fines Creek, Monday afternoon,

Miss Mildred Ferguson, sister
of the bride, presented the wed
ding music;
The Couple entered the room to
gether and were unattended Th
bride wore a navy suit with match
ing accessories and a corsage of
rea rose buds.
Immediately after the ceremony
reception was held for members
! the two families. The bride's
table was covered with a lace cloth
and was centered with a three-
tiered wedding cake.
Mrs. Reeves Ferguson, aunt of
the bride, assisted in serving.
Following the reception the cou-
pie left for a wedding trip and
upon xneir return will make their
home at Upper Crabtree.
Mrs. Rogers was graduated from
the Fines Creek High School and
attended Western Carolina Teach-
s College last year.
Mr. Rogers was eraduated from
the Crabtree Iron Duff Hich
School and served in the Navy
during World War II. He is now
engaged in farming on UDDer
Crabtree.
Among the guests at the wed
ding were Mr. and Mrs. Charles
B. McCracken, grandparents of
the bride; Glenn McCracken, uncle
of the bride: Mr. and Mrs Caulev
Rogers and son, Billy Rogers; Miss
Uis ferguson: and Miss Lissie
Rogers of Lake Junaluska. aunt of
the bridegroom.
Judge and Mrs. C. W. Worrill of
Atlanta, Georgia will arrive tomor
row for a visit to the former's sis
ter and niece, Mrs. Richard Driland
Fox and Mrs. Ellen Fox Way. Judge
Worrill is, judge in the Court of
Appeals of Georgia. .
Tom Stockton, who has spent the
summer at Lake Junaluska, left
this week for his home in Winston-
Salem. '

after spending the summer at Lake

barbecue supper at their home on
the Country Club Drive. The affair
honored their guests, Mr. and Mrs.

Supper was served on the lawn
and the hosts were assisted by their
nephew, Charles Alton Lee, Jr. of
