N, C.i Experiment Station, the
T.V.A. and other farm agencies,
will to a large extent replace the
Demonstration Farm program, The
plan calls for a Pilot farm In each
organized community. '
Some of ; the qualifications for
farms to he selected, according to
the County Agent's office, are that
the farm be of average size, that
the farmer and his wife be of

The 3rd annual 'Pigeon Valley
Fair will bo held on Sept. 28-29,
according.- to an announcement by
J, K. Justice, Secretary.
Talent shows will be given dur
ing thu fair, as well as football

now has 6.450 miles of paved high
ways, ranking fourth in the na
lion. Thu state maintains 9,749 mile
of primary highways, and the coun
ties maintain 13,830 miles of county
trunk highways and 78,768 miles of
county roads.
