Director Of Penland School ; To Speak Here Miss Lucy Morgan, director of Penland School of Handicrafts will speak at the Parish House of Grace Episcopal Church on Tuesday even ing, November 13, at 8 o'clock. Anyone interested in crafts or the unique institution at Penland is welcome. The program is sponsored by the Woman's Auxiliary of the local Episcopal Church and is one of a series of informative meetings with the theme "Know Your Diocese" to which all members of churches of the Epiiscopal Diocese of Western North Carolina are invited. Study Course Begins Tonight A study course on "The Family, A Christian's Concern," will be held at the First Methodist Church beginning tonight at 7:30 p.m. The course is being held for members of the Society of Christian Service. Churches participating, in addi tion to the Waynesville church, are Maple Grove, Long's Chapel, Hazel wod, Elizabeth Chapel, and Canton Central. Miss Queen Sets Wedding Date Miss Dorothy Queen of Washing ton, D. c, and Canton, has set the dale of her marriage to Edward Dimitroff of Pittsburg, Pa. The ceremony will take place in St. Lawrence Church in Pittsburg, November 24 at 10:00 a.m. The ride-elect is the daughter of Mrs. Docie Queen of San An tonio, Texas, and the late Mr. yucen ot canton, she is a niece ot F. A. Queen, F. M. Queen and Jim Queen, all ot Canton. She is a graduate of the School of Nursing of Garfield Hospital, Washington, and at present holds a nursing position in Pittsburg, Mrs. Marley Leaves On Trip To Germany Mrs. F. H. Marlev left Saturday for Washington, D. C, on the first part of a trip which will take her to uermany to visit her son and daughter-in-law, Lt. and Mrs. Wal lace Marley. She expects to spend several months in Europe. Lt. Marley is stationed in Ger many with Army Air Corps.
