Clark sailed from New York last Saturday for Eng land where he is attending a meet ing of the executive committee of the Methodist World Council in Birmingham. Dr. Clark, who is joint secretary of the Council, was accompanied by Dr. L. M. Spivey, president of Florida Southern Col lege. and Bishop Ivan Lee Holt, of St. Louis. D. Haskett of Waynesville have announced the marriage of their daughter, Miss June 'Haskett, to Eugene Garrdtt, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Garrett of Hazelwood. The ceremony was held in Greenville, S. C. on July 3, with Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Burris attend ing. The bride is a member of the rising junior class at the Waynes ville High School and expects to continue her education this fall. Mr.?
