These church members to whom Paul writes are changed men through their conversion ? they have "put off concerning the for mer conversation, the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness." The last verses of this chapter may be emphasized and will ap peal to every member of a Sun- * day School, from the youngest to the adult classes: "Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another. "Be ye angry, and sin not; let not the sun go down upon your wrath: "Let. him that stole steal no more, but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. "Be ye kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one an other. even as Cod for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." We know little of Jesus' child hood from the Scriptures. The circumstances of His birth. His presentation to the Lord in the temple at Jerusalem, and talks with the doctors in the temple where His parents found Him after He was missing from a home-bound group after the feast of the Passover, are all we know, as told by St. Luke. St. Luke gives us a final glimpse of the Child Jesus in the last verse of his second chapter, when he writes: "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man." That our children may grow more and more like Him as they grow toward manhood and wom anhood, is the prayer of parents, and these lessons in right living and growing up in Christ, should be most helpful to attain that end. --?wvu M |h0 p. --" - kiwwi'po oy ino uivition oi tnriFiup E*uu<?iivn( Diiifii^lirV Chl l?t "i th? I w ALL FOR THE CHURCH | Tlie Church is the greatest factor on earth for B C the building of character and good citizenship. Sf It is a storehouse of spiritual values. Without a B 1 strong Church, neitlier democracy nor civilization ^B 1 can survive. There are four sound reasons why p| every person should attend services regularly B and support the Church. They are: (1) For his B own sake. (2) For ins children's sake. (3) For the R 1 sake of his community and nation. (4) For the $j^ 1 sake of the Church itself, which needs his moral I H and material support. Plan to go to church regu- R larly and read your Bible daily.
