some better after a recent illness.

The Iron Duff Home Demon
stration Club will meet Friday.
December 11. at the home of Mrs.
Frank Davis. The meeting is to
be an all-day one beginning at
10:30. Members are asked to bring
a covered dish and Christmas gifts
will be exchanged during the af
ternoon.
Layman's Day was observed at
the Davis Chapel Methodist
Church Sunday. Frank Davis was
the principal speaker. There were
several visitors from the other
churches in the Crabtree Charge.
James Williamson returned
home last week from Jacksonville,
N. C., where he spent several
weeks with his brother, Lewis Wil
liamson. He was accompanied
home by Mrs. Lewis Williamson
and her small son, Mike, who!
spent the Thanksgiving holidays
with Mr. and Mrs. Lee William
son. Mrs. Williamson and Mike re
' turned to Jacksonville Friday.
