For the versatile star laments that the public won't let "Little Caesar" die; and the legend that he is the screen's eternai killer continues to plague him, though he can't reme/nber the last time he committed murder in a picture. "I've made more than 60 films in 29 years before the camera," says Robinson, "and my guess is that I've been a pretty decent fel low in 75 per cent of them. Why is it that people insist on remem bering 'Scarlet Street' and 'kittle Caesar' and forgetting 'Double In deminity' in which 1 caught the killer and 'Dr. Ehrllch's Magic Bullet' in which all I killed were microbes?" ' In his long stage career Robin son portrayed a gangster only once, in "The Racket". His most recent stage appearance was in 1951, after an absence of more than 20 years, to tour in "Dark ness at Noon". A master of seven languages, notable art patron and owner of a priceless collection, his versatil ity of interests includes enthusi asm for sports and for reading. Heller, production manager of the Ecusta Cellophane division of Olin Industries, Pisgah Forest, addressed the club on Friday. He described the growth of Olin Industries from a small but high ly successful powder manufactur er, to the present time which em braces eight divisions, ranging from ammunition, oil, gas, paper, cellophane and kindred products. Mr. Heller told members of the club, by use of charts the manu facturing process of cellophane, in which a long fibre WQqd pulp is used with chemicals to get the bas ic transparent sheet, which is then lacquered for the moisture-proof ing. r The industrialist said that the machines produce cellophane at the rate of about 300 feet per minute. Dr. John Penny was taken into the club as a new member. 1 PARK Theatre Program MONDAY, DEC. 14 f HERE'S THE PICTURE YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING TO SEE! "MAGAMBO" Starring CLARK GABLE AVA GARDNER ?
