Plan Easter
Outfits For
Year Round
Talk today among women Is of
spring bonnets and Easter suits
because women all over the nation
are busily planning what they'll
wear in their home-town Sunday
morning parade.
But with a little extra planning,
these spring outfits can be worn
effectively the year round ? and
that's mighty important to the lady
on the limited budget.
Julia Mclver. State College ex
tension clothing specialist says
that you should buy shoes and oth
er acct>ssorics with the same care
that you'd buy an expensive coat
or suit. When buying shoes, keep
in mind your own comfort, health
and appearance. Avoid highly dec
orated shoes that call attention to
your feet.
And when It comes to hat buy
ing, buy the hat that looks best
on vou regardless of what the pres
ent fad is. you'll be more in style j
with an outfit which compliments |
you than in one that's really high
style but does nothing for vou.
A suit of basic cut and fairly
adaptable color will prove of more
use than one which is typed the
minute you put it on your back
Remember what you can do to a
suit with accessories. Changing |
vour ensembles this wav is. of
course, much less expensive.
When you go shopping, bear in !
mind .too. what you already have ,
so that your new ou'fit will fit in
with it and make possib'e new com
binations This is Particularly im
portant wlnm having shoes and
bags. They're reallv an expensive |
item today, so plan them to go with i
