CO TO CHURCH SERVICES. SOMEWHERE EVERY SUNDA
Jesus Meets Human Needs ILLUSTRATED SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON By Alfred J. Bu*tch*r I
? Scripture?Luke 5:1-6:16.
After preaching to multitude* from
Peter** boat an the aea, Jesus told Peter
to go further out and cast his nets. A
tremendous hatch resulted, and after
taking it ashore, Simon Peter, James
and John left all and followed Jesus.
Seeing Jesus, a leper threw himself at
HI* feet asking to be made clean. Christ
healed him. After .this miracle, the
fame of Jesus spread abroad, and great
multitudes came together to hear Him
and be healed of their infirmities.
A man afflicted with palsy waa let down
on his bed from the housetop to Jesus.
Jesus forgave him his sins and healed
him. Pharisees and doctors of the law
accused Christ of blasphemy, saying
only God could forgive sins.
Jesus chose the 12 Apostles: Simon Peter,
Andrew his brother, James and John,
Philip and Bartholomew, Matthew and
Thomas, James, Simon, Judas, James'
brother, and Judas Iscariot, the traitor.
