He stress ed emphatically the necessity of finishing high school before begin ning one's service career. The CYO had Rev. Ray as its guest speaker Monday. His talk was dynamic and thought provoking. This club has become one of the strongest In CHS in the short time that it has been organized. Prom the QYO, a youth prayer meeting has branched out which Is held at various churches from Sunday to Sunday. Prom now on the meet ings are to be held at the Central Methodist Church. About 200 young folk attended the last meet ing* A group of "singing larks" had a very pleasant trip to Mars Hill College last weekend, where they attended the choral clinic. Other students from various schools also attended and had a good old sing ing time. There were many hours of rehearsal spent in preparation for a concert Saturday night.
